These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at elkgrovemasonrycompany.com and your engagement with the services provided by EGM Elk Grove Masonry ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our website or scheduling services with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
By accessing our website, submitting a contact or estimate form, calling us, or entering into any service agreement with EGM Elk Grove Masonry, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into a binding agreement. These Terms apply to all users of the website and all customers who engage our services.
EGM Elk Grove Masonry is a masonry contractor providing residential and commercial masonry services in the greater Sacramento, California region. Services include but are not limited to foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, stone veneer installation, concrete block walls, driveway pavers, walkway construction, and related masonry work.
All services are subject to on-site assessment and written agreement. We reserve the right to decline any project that falls outside our scope of expertise or that presents unsafe working conditions.
All estimates provided by EGM Elk Grove Masonry are based on information available at the time of assessment. An estimate is not a final price until a written proposal or contract has been signed by both parties.
Estimates are provided at no charge and carry no obligation. Final pricing may differ from an initial estimate if conditions discovered during work reveal additional scope - for example, if demolition uncovers damage not visible during the initial inspection. We will notify you of any material change in scope before proceeding with additional work.
Prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the date of the written estimate unless otherwise stated.
Scheduling is confirmed when we agree on a start date in writing or by phone. We ask that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed appointment. Last-minute cancellations or repeated rescheduling may result in your project being moved to a later availability window.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, permit delays, supply availability, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible if we need to adjust your scheduled start date.
Any deposit paid to secure a project date may be non-refundable if the customer cancels less than 48 hours before the scheduled start, unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.
Payment terms are established in the written proposal or contract for each project. Common arrangements include a deposit at the time of scheduling and a final payment upon completion, though terms vary by project size and scope.
Payment is due within the timeframe stated in your written agreement. Accounts that remain unpaid past the due date may be subject to a late fee and/or suspension of any warranty obligations until the balance is settled.
We accept payment by check, cash, and electronic transfer unless otherwise specified. We do not accept payment in exchange for waiving the homeowner's right to file a complaint with a contractor licensing board.
EGM Elk Grove Masonry stands behind the quality of our work. Warranty terms for each project are provided in the written contract. Where a warranty is offered, it covers defects in workmanship under normal conditions and does not cover damage caused by acts of nature, misuse, unauthorized modifications, or conditions outside the scope of the original repair.
Material warranties, where applicable, are subject to the terms of the manufacturer and are not independently guaranteed by EGM Elk Grove Masonry.
Our website is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or availability of information on the site. We do not guarantee that the website will be free of errors or interruptions.
Information on our website - including service descriptions, general cost guidance, and process overviews - is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding quote or guarantee of specific outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EGM Elk Grove Masonry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, reliance on information provided on the site, or any service-related matter not covered by a written project agreement.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that project. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence, fraud, or personal injury caused by our direct actions.
If a dispute arises between you and EGM Elk Grove Masonry in connection with services provided or these Terms, we encourage you to contact us directly first so we can work toward a resolution.
If direct resolution is not possible, the parties agree to attempt mediation in good faith before pursuing formal legal action. Mediation shall take place in Sacramento County, California, unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
If mediation does not resolve the dispute, either party may pursue their rights through the appropriate courts. Nothing in this section waives your right to file a complaint with the California Contractors State License Board.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or engagement of our services after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
