Agreement to Terms

Services Provided
EGM Elk Grove Masonry provides professional masonry contracting services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney services, tuckpointing, retaining walls, patios, stone veneer installation, and related masonry work. All services are subject to availability and proper scheduling.
Estimates and consultations are provided free of charge. Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions discovered during work. We will communicate any changes before proceeding with additional work.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your written estimate. We typically require a deposit before beginning work, with the balance due upon completion. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, and major credit cards. Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by law.
Prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the date of estimate. Material cost increases or project delays beyond this period may require revised pricing.
Project Scheduling and Delays
We make every effort to complete projects within the estimated timeframe. However, delays may occur due to weather conditions, material availability, permit processing, or unforeseen site conditions. We will communicate promptly about any delays and work to minimize inconvenience. We are not liable for damages resulting from delays beyond our reasonable control.
Warranty and Guarantees
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. Warranty terms vary by project type and will be specified in your contract. Our warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage from improper maintenance, natural disasters, settling, or other factors beyond our control.
Warranties on materials are provided by the respective manufacturers. We will assist you with warranty claims when applicable.
Liability and Insurance
EGM Elk Grove Masonry maintains appropriate liability insurance and worker compensation coverage. While we take precautions to protect your property during work, we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden damage discovered during work, or damage to underground utilities not properly marked by utility companies.
Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information about your property and any known issues. You must ensure clear access to work areas and remove valuable or fragile items from the vicinity. You are responsible for obtaining any HOA approvals required for your project.
If permits are required, we will typically handle the permit process as part of our service. However, you remain ultimately responsible for ensuring work complies with local regulations.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel a scheduled project by providing written notice. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may result in forfeiture of the deposit to cover scheduling costs. If work has already begun, you will be charged for completed work and materials ordered.

Dispute Resolution

If we cannot reach a mutual resolution, disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Sacramento County, California, in accordance with California law.
